District place is situated at Gadchiroli city which is 180 Kms away from Nagpur and 80 Kms away from Chandrapur which are part of Vidarbh region. The district well connected by district roads from Bhandara, Chandrapur and Nagpur which are adjoining districts. It takes four hours journey from Nagpur and two hours journey from chandrapur to reach Gadchiroli. State transport buses and private buses are available for travelling purpose.
The district has only one railway route of 18.48 km. Gadchiroli city is not connected to railway but railway station is available at Desaiganj / Wadsa in the district.
